Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Brewery Assistant to support our brewing operations. This is a hands-on role that involves working closely with the Head Brewer to assist in all aspects of beer production, from raw ingredient handling to packaging and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the brewing process, including wort production, fermentation, and conditioning
  • Clean and sanitise brewing equipment and workspaces to maintain high hygiene standards
  • Handle raw ingredients, including milling grain and adding hops
  • Assist with kegging, canning, and packaging beer for distribution
  • Monitor fermentation progress and report any issues to the Head Brewer
  • Manage stock levels of raw materials and packaging supplies
  • Support the team during events and taproom service when needed

About You

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a brewery or brewing environment (professional or home brewing)
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
  • Good physical fitness – ability to lift heavy items (up to 25kg)
  • A genuine passion for craft beer and the brewing process
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
